Position: Ophthalmic Technician
With nearly 24 years of experience in healthcare, Lakyra provides compassionate, patient-centered care and creates a positive experience for every patient she serves. Throughout her career, she has built a reputation for professionalism, attention to detail, and a genuine commitment to helping others.
Before joining Heady & Pham Advanced Eyecare, Lakyra worked with the team at Mercy Eye Specialists, where she gained extensive experience caring for patients with a wide range of vision and eye health needs. She is excited to bring her knowledge and experience to the Heady & Pham Advanced Eyecare family and continue serving patients throughout Ozark, Springfield, Nixa, and the surrounding Southwest Missouri communities.
Lakyra takes pride in helping patients feel comfortable and confident throughout their visit, whether they are receiving a routine eye exam, specialty testing, or treatment for an eye condition. Her goal is to ensure every patient receives exceptional care in a welcoming and supportive environment.
Outside the office, Lakyra enjoys spending time with her family, including her three children and her soon-to-arrive grandchild. She loves relaxing outdoors near the water, hosting barbecues for family and friends, and making memories with those she loves most. A devoted dog lover, she is rarely seen without her beloved English Bulldog by her side.
Lakyra is honored to be part of the Heady & Pham Advanced Eyecare team and looks forward to helping patients throughout the Springfield and Ozark area achieve and maintain their best vision and eye health.
